My family's roots are in Tehri, Uttarakhand; my discipline was shaped in Vadodara. Pahadi Saffron is where those two worlds meet. We grow Crocus sativus in precision climate-controlled chambers, harvesting every flower by hand, then test, grade and seal each batch to laboratory standards. No dyes, ever. No blending with cheaper stock. Nothing on our label we cannot prove, batch by batch, thread by thread.

Only the deep-red stigma tips make it into the batch, hand-separated, dried to spec, and sealed the same day they're picked. Each jar carries its own batch number and a QR-linked lab report, so you're not guessing at what you're tasting: colour, aroma, and strength, all verifiable.
We sell only the deep-red stigma tips, the most potent part of the flower. No yellow style mixed in, no filler, no broken dust passed off as whole threads.
No dyes, no added weight, no quietly blending in imported or aged stock. Whatever's in the jar grew in our chamber.
Temperature, humidity, light, and airflow are monitored and logged around the clock, the kind of discipline you'd expect from a pharma cleanroom, applied here to a crop.
Every batch goes through ISO 3632 testing for crocin (colour), safranal (aroma), and picrocrocin (taste), and the report ships with the jar not on request, always.
One team handles it all: substrate, climate, harvest, drying, testing, sealing. No middlemen, no hands we can't account for.
Scan the code on your jar, and you'll see the batch number, harvest date, chamber record and lab certificate. This isn't a bonus feature it's the whole point of buying from us.
One team grows, picks, tests, and seals every thread, under one roof, to one standard.
Only the deep-red stigma tips go into the jar. Style, stamen and broken material get discarded before they ever reach a Pahadi jar.
We pick the flowers by hand right at bloom and separate the stigmas the same day, before the aroma and colour have a chance to fade.
Crocus sativus corms are raised in climate-controlled chambers built to recreate the cold mountain autumn, which is what triggers the bloom in the first place.
Every batch is sent to an accredited laboratory for ISO 3632 testing on crocin, safranal and picrocrocin.
Threads are dried to spec and sealed in airtight glass the same day, which locks in colour, aroma and strength before anything can fade.
Each jar ships with a QR code that links straight to its batch record and lab report, so you can trace it back from corm to jar.
